Stock Control & Warehousing
We have a dedicated Stock Control team at each facility who are fully responsible for all stock management from the moment stock arrives until it leaves our warehouse. This ensures that the people picking and packing can concentrate on dispatching your orders and the stock control team can focus on managing your stock.
We operate a cycle count system at Shuttle; this is an agreed number of lines from your product catalogue that are cycle counted every week. This system allows us to manage your stock accurately and efficiently. We operate a par stock system; you nominate the minimum stock level you want based on your re-order lead times and monthly consumption of the product line, this is held in 3EX and you are notified if you are going to fall below that level so that you can choose to re-order or run stocks down.
